Putin said the situation in Karabakh is moving towards a settlement

The development of the situation with the Karabakh conflict is currently moving towards a settlement. The statement was made Thursday by Russian President Vladimir Putin during trilateral talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

At the same time, the Russian leader said there were still no concrete solutions to some problems. At the same time, he added, their adoption is technical.

“There are still unresolved issues, but in my opinion <…> they are purely technical in nature,” Putin said.

The President added that the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides also adhere to the corresponding point of view.

Last Thursday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Yerevan and Baku had agreed on mutual recognition of each other’s territorial integrity.
