Putin said the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh is moving towards a settlement

The situation related to the Nagorno-Karabakh region in the South Caucasus is moving towards a settlement. This statement was made by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The head of state noted that there are enough difficulties to solve this problem. He added that one of the ways to solve the situation is transport communications.

“In general, in my opinion, despite the difficulties and problems, which are still enough, nevertheless, the situation is moving towards a settlement. One of these areas is work on transport communications,” the head of the Russian Federation said.

Putin held a trilateral meeting in the Kremlin with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev.

Also, within the framework of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Vladimir Putin held bilateral talks with Nikol Pashinyan. Then the President of the Russian Federation drew attention to the growth of trade turnover with official Yerevan – it demonstrates a confident positive trend and in 2022 grew by more than 83%, reaching the five billion mark of dollars.
