The Krasnodar mayor’s office reported a thunderous explosion in the center of the regional capital. Information about the incident was published on the Telegram channel of the head of the city Yevgeny Naumov.
Information about the explosion was received by law enforcement at 4:17 a.m. on May 26. The incident occurred at the customer center of one of the maritime region’s mobile operators.
“I am on Morskaya Street. An office building and a residential building were damaged,” Naumov said.
According to the town hall, no one was injured in the explosion.
Emergency services are currently on site. The reasons for the incident have not yet been established.
Earlier it was reported about the earthquake in the Tuapse district of the Krasnodar Territory on May 25, the tremors reached 4.3 points. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 5 km near the village of Olginka.
