In the video.. Details of the horror on board an airliner flying with its door open

This is what really happened during a flight of a plane carrying about 200 passengers in South Korea.

In detail, a passenger opened the door of an Asiana Airlines plane carrying 194 passengers before it landed at Daegu International Airport today, Friday, causing breathing difficulties for 9 passengers, but the plane landed safely, officials said.

After leaving Jeju Island, the plane was en route to Daegu, 237 kilometers southeast of South Korea’s capital, Seoul, when the gate suddenly opened at 12:45 p.m., officials said. airport and aviation industry sources.

The plane landed shortly after, with the door still open.
Officials said the plane was about 250 meters above the ground when the door opened, according to South Korea’s Yonhap news agency.

None of the passengers fell from the plane and no one was injured, but 12 panicked passengers showed symptoms including difficulty breathing and some of them were taken to hospital.

Officials said they were not in serious condition and could have been injured due to hyperventilation.

The Reasons

When the suspect attempted to pull the lever to open the exit door, flight attendants were unable to stop him as the plane was about to descend. Police said he was not intoxicated at the time of the arrest, but did not say why he did so. “It is difficult to have a normal conversation with him, said an official. We will investigate the motive and punish him”. Police said he was traveling alone. Some witnesses said the suspect tried to jump out the door after it opened. An eyewitness said: “The flight attendants screamed for help to the male passengers, and people clung to him from everywhere and pulled him inside.” Among the passengers were 48 primary and secondary school athletes who were due to compete in a national sporting event on Saturday in the nearby city of Ulsan.

The mother of one of the pupils said: “The children were shivering and crying in terror. There is no doubt that those who sat by the door were the most shocked.” Another 44-year-old passenger said a door in the middle of the plane’s left side opened with a sound like an explosion about 10 minutes before landing. One by one, the passenger said, “It was chaotic as people near the door seemed to start fainting and flight attendants were broadcasting messages to medics on the plane, while some ran into the panicked.” He said, “I thought the plane was exploding. I thought I was going to die like this.”
