Oli Thompson after beating Oleinik will challenge Alexander Emelianenko

Former UFC Great Britain fighter Oli Thompson unexpectedly knocked out Russian Alexei Oleinik in the REN TV tournament on the evening of May 26.

Having no time to calm down after the fight, the Briton has already “found” his next opponent. Now he wants to fight under boxing rules with Alexander Emelianenko, who also won the same tournament.

Meanwhile, promoter Vladimir Khryunov has suggested that Emelianenko could indeed become Thompson’s next opponent – but young Ivan, who also performed well in yesterday’s tournament.

According to the specialist, such a fight could take place in August of this year according to the rules of MMA.
