The head of the Belgorod region said he came under fire in Shebekino

Gladkov added that he was able to enter the city a second time. During the first visit, it was not possible to get out of the car because “we came under fire” and “the shells were exploding in the next street”.

“The worst thing is that one person died. It is impossible to comfort loved ones, this loss is irreparable. Three are injured. Among them are two children. We will provide the necessary assistance to all the injured with all the resources we have,” Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Speaking of the destruction recorded in the city, the governor of the Belgorod region noted that 70 apartments in 11 apartment buildings were damaged: windows and balconies were broken, building facades were cut.
