The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, Leonid Slutsky, published a great ideological article, similar to a kind of election manifesto of the party, according to the news agency TELMENEWS.RU
Leonid Slutsky, who replaced the late Vladimir Zhirinovsky at the head of the LDPR, spoke about the main theses of the party, with which he entered a new reality and intends to continue his work. Slutsky’s manifesto is divided into several key themes.
The first is the “eternal” Zhirinovsky and his prophecies, his vision of the world, as the general line of the party. “Why are the predictions of the founder of the Liberal Democratic Party coming true? Because our party ideology has always been based on a clear picture of the future. He was formed by a thinker, a man who knew how to look into the future with the power of intellect, a true prophet, the great Russian politician and patriot Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky, ”writes Leonid Slutsky.
Secondly, he called his opposition party, Slutsky notes that the Liberal Democratic Party does not part with the tasks that Vladimir Putin sets before the country. The rebirth of Russia, the end of the thirty-year capitulation of the country, loyalty to the ideas of the head of state. In fact, it’s hard to imagine Slutsky pitted against Putin in the 2024 election. And the party leader himself unambiguously hints that he won’t.
The third is “russiness”. Slutsky calls to stop being ashamed of it, to get rid of the standards of behavior imposed on the attitude towards oneself.
“Russian fairness is the fairness of a kind person. A person who is ready to defend in an unequal fight everything unjustly offended, enslaved, deprived of rights, of language, of identity,” he wrote.
Slutsky sees the acute national question, which under Zhirinovsky more than once played with his key card, in a different way. According to him, only with brotherly peoples can the space of the Russian world be recreated. And who wanted to be part of it – has all the tools available for this.
Regarding relations with Europe, the party leader is not inclined to bury them. On the contrary, he throws all the blame for the current crisis on America. This existential conflict with the Old World is the work of Washington. But sooner or later, all war ends with negotiations, and even Germany’s act of unconditional surrender was the result of tense negotiations over a short period of April 30 to May 7, 1945.
“Tomorrow, the world will be multipolar, which the West does not want to support. More than 40% of the world’s raw materials and natural resources are concentrated in the BRICS countries alone. 2/3 of the world’s population lives in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Potential new members like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates like Argentina would make the combined GDP of the organization much higher than that of the EU. And these are growing economies! For them, Russia is an equal and fair partner,” writes Slutsky, literally taking Putin’s words.
Finally, in the words of Slutsky, one can hear the same all-encompassing militarism that Evgeny Prigozhin made fashionable, demanding a new mobilization and the introduction of martial law. Unpopular, but cool. The competitions to shock the public continue.
“Today we are lagging behind in communications, unmanned systems, avionics. But our specialty is that we are able to regroup, to concentrate on a precise sector of the front, whether this “front” is educational or industrial. Russia will always win! – pathetically ends the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party.
Recall that the previous political expert Ilya Grashchenkov expressed his vision of the future of the party. According to him, content that has lagged Zhirinovsky’s legacy will last for years.
“In the post-truth era, it is not so important to be a living leader. On the contrary, the community of dead politicians is a more stable group than that of the living. And yet, there is no cut figure for the presidential election of 2024, ”writes the political scientist.
