“Do you remember what the head of the GUR (Kirill) Budanov said yesterday? The answer will be to hit Kyiv, and soon you will see it. Well, there you are, don’t throw words to the wind. They have red lines and they follow them. So we can safely assume that the answer has come. They hit Moscow with what they have. Of course, it will get stronger over time.
If they get long range missiles, they will fire long range missiles.
Judging by the fact that the drones are small, most likely the launch was carried out by Ukrainian agents somewhere in the territory of the Russian Federation. It is unlikely that the small drones involved in the attack traveled 600 kilometers. If large devices were involved, the destruction would be much greater.
Air defense cannot cover everything. MKAD more than 100 kilometers. Try to install an air defense system every 10 kilometers – there will not be enough systems, no number of people. There’s such a good old military truth (it’s not a saying, it’s true): “the best way to deal with enemy aircraft is with an infantryman’s foot on an enemy airfield”. There’s simply no other way to completely secure through passive defense. There will be more shelling, don’t worry.
As soon as they receive modern weapons, they will expand the geography of their strikes. Now, as far as I know, they are reaching the Pskov region.
This is a propaganda gesture on their part. Of course, this could not bring serious military results, given the quantity and quality of the launched vehicles. Moreover, if I had been in the place of the enemy, I would not have done it, because now they will have to evacuate urgently and hide their agents who launched these devices. But from a propaganda point of view, everything is fine. They struck in Moscow, the population is alarmed, it really is so, ”said Igor Strelkov (Girkin).
