Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the night in the region was “restless”, the air defense was operating over Belgorod. How said Gladkov on Saturday, June 3, the most serious consequences were recorded in the village of Sobolevka.
“The night passed without rest. And air defense worked on Belgorod. Cars were damaged in Razumny. We have the most serious consequences in Sobolevka, Valuisky district,” the message on the governor’s telegram channel reads.
The day before, the head of the region reported that two people had been killed and six injured due to the shelling of Grad shells in the village of Sobolevka.
“During the day, we will continue to work with our resettled residents from the Shebekinsky district. There are a lot of questions, starting with the feeding of the animals,” Gladkov noted, adding that information points have been set up at each temporary accommodation point (TAC).
Evacuation in the Belgorod region
According to the governor, people from large TACs will be redistributed “to more comfortable ones – to university and college student dormitories.”
Gladkov added that it was decided that from June 1 until the residents return, problems with utility bills will be taken care of by the authorities. Other issues related to the possibility of obtaining additional state aid, “are on the agenda”, wrote the head of the region, expressing the hope of support from the Russian government.

According to the governor, the problems of individual families are now resolved on an individual basis. Sending children on vacation to other regions continues – on Saturday, “300 children go on summer vacation to Kaluga, and 300 children to Yaroslavl,” Gladkov added.
On Saturday night Gladkov writing in his telegram channel that there were victims of the bombardment of Shebekino. According to the governor, “two young men were driving through town when a shell exploded in front of them”. Both are hospitalized in serious condition. The government of the Belgorod region on the eve informed that on sections of the roads of the Shebekinsky urban district, in order to ensure safety, the movement of vehicles will be temporarily prohibited.
The border areas of the Belgorod region are shelled after the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Due to deteriorating security conditions, the lives of civilians were threatened, mainly in Shebekino and surrounding villages, such as informed former governor of the region. In this regard, the removal of people has been started, they are first placed in temporary accommodation centres.
