Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Putin: reveals Ukraine’s losses following its counterattack

Putin said in a meeting with Russian war correspondents that about 30% of military vehicles the West recently handed over to Ukraine were destroyed by the Russian military, and he denied the need to announce a new military mobilization.

The Russian President said that Ukraine lost 160 tanks and 360 armored vehicles in the counterattack, and that’s exactly what Moscow was counting on.

He explained: “When it comes to armored vehicles, the numbers in general are more decisive. At that time, they lost more than 160 tanks and more than 360 armored vehicles of various types,” according to Russian media.

He explained: “There are still casualties that we don’t see from strikes with long-range, high-precision weapons on groups of personnel and equipment. By my calculations, that’s about 25, or maybe 30% of the volume of equipment that was provided.”

Putin noted that “Ukraine has not succeeded in any of the sectors of the counterattack, it has heavy losses”, adding that “the objectives of the special military operation in Ukraine vary depending on the current situation, but in general they remain the same and are of a fundamental nature for Russia.”

Leopard and Bradley burn perfectly

The Russian president described the destruction of German “Leopard” tanks and American-made “Bradley” vehicles used by Ukraine, as “they are burning perfectly and their ammunition is exploding inside”.

“Bradley and Leopard are burning well, as we expected. And I don’t know, maybe they saw it there, the ammo inside the tanks is exploding, everything is flying in different directions” , did he declare.

On Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry released video footage of captured Ukrainian equipment, including US Bradley infantry vehicles and German Leopard-2A6 tanks.

Russian weapons and lack of ammunition

On the other hand, Putin said that the characteristics and quality of Russian weapons are improving, and the special military operation in Ukraine has made it possible to understand how to adjust the Russian army to be the best in the world.

He added, in a meeting with war correspondents: “There is almost no defense industry left in Ukraine, but our (production) operations are increasing, the quality is increasing and improving, the characteristics are improving, the range and accuracy are also improving, if not for the occurrence of the special military operation, perhaps we would never have figured out how to control our defense since Our army is perhaps the best in the world, but we will.”

“The Russian military lacks many things, such as precision-guided munitions, communications equipment and drones, but in terms of quantity, not quality,” Putin said.
