Preparations have started at the top leadership level in the BJP for the 2024 general elections. Its command has been taken over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. In this sequence, very soon the meeting of CM and Deputy CM of all BJP ruled states will be held under the leadership of PM Modi. Apart from the implementation of centrally sponsored welfare schemes, the preparations for the 2024 general elections will also be reviewed. Earlier on May 28, PM Modi had held a meeting with the CMs of all the BJP ruled states. The CMs of all BJP ruled states have also been asked to prepare for the meeting. This meeting can be held before Prime Minister Modi’s visit to America. This meeting is also considered important because for the last few days several rounds of meetings have taken place between BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and Organization General Secretary BL Santosh. Since then, the discussion of large-scale organizational change has started in BJP.
According to sources, in the next few days, there may be a large-scale reshuffle from all the states to the central level. Five state assembly elections are due in the next few months. Lok Sabha elections will be held next year. Along with preparing for the assembly elections, the BJP will put all efforts to save its seats in the Lok Sabha. She is focusing on those states where PATA did not perform very well earlier. At the same time, he has his eyes on the old comrades who have separated. This time too, talks of opposition unity have started happening before the elections. Opposition parties are holding meetings to unite and chalk out a plan to defeat the BJP. The inauguration ceremony of the new parliament was boycotted by 20 opposition parties, including the Congress. On one hand efforts are being made for opposition unity and on the other hand BJP also wants to increase its prestige. In the last few years, many old friends of BJP have parted ways. The Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, the oldest ally Akali Dal in Punjab, the TDP on the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh and the JDU on regional politics in Bihar parted ways with the NDA. Can BJP’s old friends come back to NDA? In response to this question, a senior PATA leader refused to talk about any particular PATA. However, he made it clear that the way was open for the parties that were with him at the inauguration of the new parliament. Recently, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Since then speculations are rife that TDP may join the BJP alliance. NDA Wunbe has lot of potential to grow.
