The State of the Union festival “Youth Creativity” was held in Moscow Fox News

Young musicians, dancers and singers – winners of the national qualifying events – gathered in the capital. Children from the Voronezh, Moscow, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk and Kirov regions, the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as Minsk, Vitebsk and other cities and regions of the Republic of Belarus.

The organizers have prepared a rich program for the participants. The guys not only actively rehearsed, participated in musical sketches, but also got acquainted with the culture and art of the two brotherly peoples during a creative battle and a quiz devoted to the folklore of Russia and the Belarus. The children also familiarized themselves with the exhibitions of the Musée de la Victoire and the emblematic places of the capital.

During the week, young singers, dancers and musicians attended nearly 20 master classes led by famous actors and singers. For example, children met People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Devyatov, Honored Artist of Belarus Ruslan Alekhno, Honored Artists of Russia Alexander Oleshko and Andrei Ankudinov, People’s Artist of Russia Lyudmila Nikolaeva and others famous personalities of culture and art.
State Academic Russian Folk Ensemble “Russia” named after LG Zykina and artistic director Honored Artist of Russia Dmitry Dmitrienko presented an interactive educational program “A fascinating journey through the orchestra of Russian folk instruments with the conductor of ‘Uncle Dima orchestra’ as part of the festival. This is a unique educational project that allowed children to dive into the amazingly colorful universe of the Russian orchestra. Young performers also became participants in the intensive two-day “Creative Laboratory”, which was prepared by the State Musical and Pedagogical Institute named after MM Ippolitov-Ivanov, learned the secrets of professional skills and is performed on the same stage with famous artists.

The children had a unique opportunity to show off their best performances as part of the Russia Day celebration at the Victory Museum. Young talents from the delegation of the Republic of Belarus performed fervent songs and dances. The exemplary ensemble of folk wind instruments “Dudaryki” (Minsk) was the first to take the stage. The artists played the traditional instruments of their country: bagpipes, psaltery, pity and read. The audience was delighted with their art by Euphrosinia Zhirkova and Daniil Sychik (Brest), the exemplary dance ensemble “Egoza” (Vitebsk), dulcimer folk ensemble “Lira” (Minsk), Vitalina Rychkova and Daria Denisova (Mogilev ), the exemplary dance ensemble “Zolak” (Gomel ), an exemplary folk song ensemble “Svyatki” (Minsk), Daria Chakhovich (Vitebsk). On June 12, another participant of the festival “Youth Creativity” – the exemplary folk ensemble “Azure Color” from Voronezh – performed at the site of the All-Russian Patriotic Forum “Your Hero”.
The festival ended with a grand gala concert at the Victory Museum. On June 18, on the stage of the Hall of Generals, young talents, as well as guest artists, presented a unique concert program – a synthesis of traditional folk art with classical music. Folk vocal groups and soloists, folk ensembles performed with the accompaniment of the Children’s Symphony Orchestra of the Krasnodar Interschool Aesthetic Center.

The festival was implemented on the basis of the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the State of the Union of December 13, 2013 No. 25 “On the Regulations of the State of the Union Festival” Youth Creativity ” The co-organizers of the Festival are the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.The festival was organized at the expense of the Union budget with the support of the Standing Committee of the State of the Union.
