Boris Titov, chairman of the Russian part of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development, authorized by the President of Russia for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs, announced this during a meeting with the chairman of the Chinese side of the committee, Xia Baolong.
On June 18-19, Titov held a series of business meetings with representatives of Chinese business circles. “The trip is very interesting,” he says. — We were notably in the pilot economic development center of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the city of Qingdao. Very nice architecture, comfortable rooms. We thought that the Russian-Chinese Committee could also make more use of the possibilities of this center. Since it is directly aimed at developing China’s relations with the SCO countries, and mainly with Russia. This applies to business registration, transport logistics opportunities and financial services.
“We planned to hold the next forum of small and medium enterprises in Russia and China, in turn it should be hosted by the Chinese side,” Boris Titov recalled. – It can be held in Qingdao, at the site of the SCO pilot zone. I must say that the management of the center accepted this idea with great enthusiasm. In addition, it is very convenient for Russian entrepreneurs – now there is a direct flight from Moscow to Qingdao, which is operated by one of the Chinese airlines.
In this case, we could organize the forum in November, which would give us more time to prepare.
“The offer is reasonable,” agreed Xia Baolong. “We will discuss.”
For reference:
The China-SCO pilot area is located in the open seaside city of Qingdao and covers an area of 108 km2. The pilot area borders Japan and South Korea to the east, connects to SCO countries to the west, ASEAN countries to the south, and Mongolia and Russia to the north.
