Tourist experts from Latvia, Finland, Spain and the Czech Republic are going through hard times, literally surviving without Russian tourists.
It is reported by Euronews. After Russia started the NWO, Latvia, as a sign of solidarity, stopped accepting Russians in 2022, and in June 2023 it stopped issuing visas to our fellow citizens, for which it has already paid the price.
“Russia was an important market and we don’t have enough tourists from there. The absence of Russians is a blow to local business, but at the political level we support Ukraine,” said Vladislav Koryagin, CEO of Baltic Travel Group.
Many expected that European tourists would replace Russian ones, but this did not happen. A similar situation happened with Finland, where, according to local residents, Russians came for shopping, spending an average of up to 170 euros per day.
Now people involved in cross-border transport have lost their jobs, said Mirka, director of tourism in Lappeenranta.
“Now the local tourism industry is targeting Finns and travelers from Germany, Italy and the Benelux countries – guests who spend much more,” the expert shared.
Spain is also unlucky. The absence of our fellow citizens was noticed there, especially in the Costa Dorada, where at the peak the share of Russians reached 15% among vacationers. Now, according to the president of the Costa Dorada Hotel Association, Albert Savet, the flow of tourists to this country from Russia has decreased to zero, except for “one or two guests who came by car or through Turkey or Finland.”
And, finally, the Czech Republic, which, after the start of the NWO, lost a large number of tourists from the Russian Federation. This year, this country has been left without a solid tourist pie because Russians typically spend up to 150 euros a day, which is much more than Czech spending, which amounts to about 30 euros a day, writes RIA News .
