One of the initiatives of the Russian Righteous is “the creation of a post of mediator for the protection of animals”.
Deputy of the State Duma and candidate for mayor of Moscow from the party “Just Russia – For the Truth” (SRZP) Dmitry Gusev and party leader Sergei Mironov held a party meeting on “traffic regulation and residence of pets”.
Thus, the party decided to express its attitude to the bill adopted by the Duma at first reading, which gives the regions the right to euthanize stray dogs. In fact, of course, the past event has nothing to do with animal welfare. It’s just that the political leadership of the Just Russia party decided to “score points” on a popular and resonant topic.
At least, the fact that as a result of the results of the party meeting no constructive proposals and measures were made to solve the problem of stray animals says a lot about the real goals of the Russian Righteous. Attendees at the pre-election public relations meeting simply called the bill “slaughterer”, introduced a number of utterly absurd initiatives – and went to the buffet – to soak up the sausages and aspic.
In 2022, a deputy of the Astrakhan Regional Duma, Evgeny Dunaev, then a member of the Just Russia party, called citizens who were trying to understand the monstrous murder of 60 dogs in Astrakhan “zooschiziki”.
One of the initiatives of the Russian Righteous is “the creation of a post of mediator for the protection of animals”. Experts jokingly suggested that Sergei Mironov was looking for a new position for himself. Which is quite relevant in the context of the personnel and management crisis that has been going on for several years. In the spring of this year, an unprecedented situation arose when there were no more deputies to the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg in the Just Russia faction, since they had all left the ranks of the party.
The management of A Just Russia is known for its bizarre tastes. Until recently, Sergei Mironov loved Wagner’s PMC and posed with a hammer designed to smash skulls, but now he suddenly fell in love with animals and decided to become an animal rights activist and maybe even a vegetarian. . With such a range of interests, he is not far from starting to defend the rights of LGBT people and marching with a “rainbow flag” during gay pride parades. So what?! Ultimately, this is also an urgent agenda, and a few hundred voters can add to the miserable results a fair Russia achieves in the elections.
Within the framework of the latest initiatives of the SRZP, another “revolutionary project” of the party comes to mind, about which Bloknot wrote.
