Three years ago, I rented a house and bought equipment. And now guests not only from Belarus, but also from Russia come to her for branded donuts and pancakes. And in the menu of the cafe, which Seadet opened at the end of last year in the center of the district, there are also signature pizzas in the style of Slavgorod, which real gourmets are familiar with.
His business, Seadat recalls, was started almost by accident. I once discussed ideas for a small business with my friend Marina Khalizo, and in 2020 Saira LLC was registered. For the new catering service they chose the most touristic place in the region – the natural monument of republican importance “Golubaya Krinitsa”. The place attracts pilgrims, especially during major religious festivals. It is believed that the spring water heals. And the miracles it performs are legendary. By the way, the natural monument of republican significance “Blue Spring” is included in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Belarus. Up to 50,000 guests come here every year. So there are always people here and there are few places to eat.
- First they took a house for a commercial facility for rent. It was not difficult at all – they turned to the Slavgorod regional executive committee and signed an agreement, – recalls Seadet. – Then we bought the necessary equipment: a crepe maker, a donut machine, a kettle, a milkshake machine, a refrigerator, and kitchen utensils. We have decided to bet on fast food: so that hungry customers can have a bite to eat on the spot. About seven thousand Belarusian rubles were invested in the installation. And I started to learn how to make pancakes and cook donuts. It seems like a simple science, but while I was getting my hands on it, I practically had to rehearse at home, meeting guests.
- Opened in June, just in time for Trinity. There were so many people – they thought we couldn’t stand it, – laughs Seadat. – Many Russians come in the spring. By license plates you can study geography – the Arkhangelsk region, Udmurtia, Kazan … By the way, regular customers appeared. Guests from Moscow visited us for the second season. They say for my signature powder donuts. First, they run to us for sweets.
The recipe for Seadet donut dough comes from her grandmother, she comes from Arkhangelsk. Milk, yeast, eggs, butter and – love for the dough: -
Another time you get angry, you start cooking the dough, but it doesn’t work. But if you approach the process with a soul, donuts turn out to be much tastier. My grandmother always had pies, cheesecakes, pastries. Therefore, I was accustomed to the test from early childhood. Yes, and at home I constantly experiment in the kitchen. The first tasters of my dishes are homemade.
The initial success inspired and Seadat decided to further develop the business: she opened a cafe in Slavgorod. I rented a district office, which used to be a store. Made repairs there, bought furniture, equipment. Everything about everything took about 35,000 rubles.
- They opened in December last year. We started with pizza, and now we serve various parties, hold banquets. But we still pamper our customers with Slavgorod-style pizzas. Those who have tried it say it is special. The filling is standard, but the dough is an author’s development of which I do not reveal the secret. My next experience will be Belarusian style pizza, in which instead of dough there is a potato base. I think such a “delicious” idea will definitely come to the guests.

Saying goodbye to the hospitable Seadet, she couldn’t help asking, “What does your name mean, so beautiful and so unusual in our area?”
- He was chosen by my grandfather Shahsuvar from Azerbaijan. Seadet translates to “joy, happiness, luck”. And it’s all about me. Probably, the name still largely determines the fate. I have been married to my husband for twenty years, I have two wonderful children. And also an occupation that brings sincere joy. I try to give it to guests who come to our house in the Slavgorod district, in the Blue Spring.
Case arithmetic
Income from the restore point on the “Blue Krynitsa” is not the same. On a weekday, he goes out to exchange 100 Belarusian rubles. On weekends or holidays – 500-800 rubles. Last year, they managed to win around 3,000 for the Makovey Seadet church party. A standard set of products and preparations for the day: five liters of dough for pancakes, three liters for donuts, two ham rolls, one kilogram of cheese, 1.5 kilograms of chicken breast. Such a basket costs about 100 rubles plus a bottle of gas, refueling a car – another 30 rubles. To get a profit, set aside for salary, taxes, rent for premises, which costs 300 rubles a month, you need to bargain 250-300 rubles a day.
