Prime Minister Netanyahu’s warning, “every Hamas member is a dead man”

In a significant political development, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a joint press conference with Foreign Minister Yoav Galant, who is an ex-IDF member. The conference also included the participation of Defense Minister Benny Ganz and was conducted in collaboration with the opposition Blue and White Party, led by Staff. During this conference, the formation of a ‘Government of National Emergency’ was announced.

Prime Minister Netanyahu used the platform to issue a stern warning to the terrorist organization Hamas. “We will wipe this thing called Hamas, ISIS-Gaza, off the face of the earth. It will cease to exist”, he declared as reported by Reuters. This statement marked a departure from his previous personal remarks and was made in an official capacity during the press conference. Netanyahu emphasized the unity of the Jewish nation, stating, “Israel is one, and now its leadership will also be united”.

The Prime Minister also drew attention to the atrocities committed by terrorists, including heinous acts like burning people alive. He underscored the emotional toll these acts have taken on Israeli families, stating, “Every family in Israel is connected to the victims in one way or another. We will fight together for our homes.” Netanyahu also mentioned that he has received support from world-class politicians in his endeavors.

Defense Minister Benny Ganz echoed Netanyahu’s sentiments, stating, “We are all one. We are all joining this struggle”. He clarified that the new partnership with Netanyahu is not merely political but a “partnership of destiny.”

This development comes at a time when Israel is facing severe threats from Hamas. According to The Irish News, Benny Gantz, a former defense minister and military chief of staff, released a joint statement with Netanyahu, confirming the formation of a wartime unity government. Netanyahu has called Opposition leader Benny Gantz for a meeting to advance plans for an emergency unity government in light of the dire circumstances the country faces due to Hamas’ brutal attacks.

Netanyahu’s declaration that “every member associated with Hamas is certain to die” resonates with the gravity of the situation. The unity government aims to address the escalating conflict and safeguard Israeli interests. The Defense Minister’s affirmation that this is a “partnership of destiny” further underscores the gravity of the situation and the unified approach Israel is taking to combat the threats it faces.

While the formation of this unity government is a pivotal moment in Israeli politics, it also serves as a strong message to Hamas and other terrorist organizations. The Israeli leadership is united in its resolve to protect its citizens and sovereignty. The government’s unified stance is expected to have far-reaching implications, not just within Israel but also in shaping the geopolitical dynamics of the region.

The unity government has promised to “eradicate” Hamas. Since the deadly incursion of Hamas fighters into Israeli towns near Gaza, Israel has been conducting unprecedented airstrikes on the Palestinian enclave and has begun deploying troops and tanks in preparation for a possible ground operation.
