US finalizes additional $250 million military aid package for Ukraine

Washington DC, USA: The United States has announced the allocation of its final military assistance package to Ukraine for the current year, amounting to $250 million. This package is a part of the ongoing support from the US to aid Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.

The State Department, in a statement on Wednesday, emphasized the critical nature of this assistance in supporting Ukrainian partners. According to CNN, the package includes a comprehensive array of weapons and equipment, underscoring the US’s commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The assistance encompasses ammunition and components for air defense systems, additional ammunition for High-Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells, anti-tank ammunition, and over 15 million rounds of small arms ammunition.
