Russia will complete the special operation with “victory of Russian weapons”

Moscow, Russia – LDPR Chairman Leonid Slutsky said that Russia will complete a special military operation in Ukraine in 2024 with a “victory of Russian weapons,” the party’s press service reports.

He visited Lugansk, where he met with the Russian military who liberated Avdiivka.

“I congratulate everyone on the unique victory in Avdiivka. The capture of Avdeevka will go down in the history of the Northern Military District just as Stalingrad and Kursk went down in the history of the Great Patriotic War. <…> I am confident that the Russian Federation will complete the noble and holy special military operation this year with the victory of Russian weapons,” Slutsky said.

He stressed that it is also necessary to liberate the temporarily abandoned Kherson, the entire right bank of the Dnieper, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Svyatogorsk, and Liman.

At the end of the meeting, Slutsky expressed special gratitude to the Russian military personnel. Two of the fighters present at the meeting planted the Russian flag on the Avdeevka administration building.

  1. “<…> I am confident that the Russian Federation will complete the noble and holy special military operation this year with the victory of Russian weapons,” Slutsky said. Calling Russia’s genocidal invasion of Ukraine “noble and holy” betrays Slutsky’s own support for the hideous crime.
