Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Kremlin commented on Ukraine’s hints about the destruction of the Crimean bridge

Ukraine’s recent hints about the destruction of the Crimean Bridge are not news; they have happened before. This was stated by the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov during a briefing.

“The Kiev regime does not hide its intentions to continue its terrorist activities,” the Kremlin spokesman emphasized.

Peskov added that Russian special departments and ministries are taking appropriate measures in connection with such threats.

Prior to this, Ukraine’s permanent representative to the UN, Sergei Kislitsa, provided a list of “main types of bridges for 2024”. Among them are “Kerch Bridges”. He accompanied each type of bridge with an image of the corresponding species but indicated the inscription “Kerch Bridges” with a blank picture.

The publication of the Ukrainian diplomat followed a few days after the Lithuanian Ambassador to Sweden hinted at an impending attack on the Crimean Bridge.

In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also spoke about his intention to destroy the Crimean Bridge. According to him, the corresponding task will be included in the plan of the new counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
