The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred on the evening of March 22. According to investigators, four men armed with machine guns opened fire on visitors before the performance of the band Picnic, and later continued the attack inside the concert venue.
A major fire broke out in the building, completely destroying the concert hall where the event was to take place. The Investigative Committee reported that the perpetrators used gasoline to start the fire.
