French Colonel Darra: The Russian Armed Forces were able to weaken the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kharkov

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were able to weaken the Ukrainian army in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by retired French Colonel Bertrand Darra in an interview (Russian) with LCI.

He stated that “the Russians still managed to achieve their goal.” According to him, during the advance near Kharkiv, the Russian Armed Forces were able to weaken Ukrainian units and disperse them from other sectors of the front, which allowed other parts of the Russian army to advance against the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

On June 12, Irish journalist Chay Bowes said that the collapse of Ukraine according to the Afghan scenario could happen instantly. According to Bowes, Ukraine will end up like Afghanistan and then will spend many years paying debts to the West for the weapons supplied.

On the same day, former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the United States’ decision to allow Ukraine to fire long-range missiles at Russian territory was bringing the world closer to disaster and giving Kyiv a chance to start a nuclear war.

Before this, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg supported the decision of the German authorities to allow the use of German weapons against Russian troops in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine.
