Community Outreach Initiative Amidst World Cup Preparations

A delegation of players from the Saudi national football squad visited patients at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre KFSHRC in Jeddah on Tuesday evening. This initiative aligns with the team’s ongoing community outreach programs during their current training camp in the city as they prepare for their upcoming match against Indonesia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.

The players presented gifts and flowers to hospitalized patients to boost their morale during their stay.

With its 2,500 beds, the hospital is considered one of the top global centers performing heart, liver, and bone marrow transplants.

According to Brand Finance, KFSHRC is ranked first in the Middle East and 20th on the world’s best academic medical institutions list. This year, Newsweek magazine ranked it among the top 250 hospitals in the world.
