Russian military shot down 31 Ukrainian drones in 24 hours

Defense Ministry: Air Defense Forces Shot Down Three ATACMS Missiles, Three HIMARS Projectiles, and 31 Ukrainian Drones

Russian air defense systems shot down three ATACMS operational-tactical missiles and three US-made HIMARS rockets, as well as 31 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, says the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In addition, Russian military personnel, with the support of combat aircraft, drones, missile forces, and artillery fire, struck concentrations of military personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in 128 districts.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian army has lost 646 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 32,558 drones, 579 anti-aircraft missile systems, 18,468 tanks, and other equipment.

“Nine counterattacks by assault groups of the 28th, 47th, 150th, 151st, and 154th Mechanized, 25th Airborne Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled. The enemy’s losses amounted to 635 servicemen, an M113 armored personnel carrier made in the USA, three combat armored vehicles, two cars, a 152-mm howitzer “MSTA-B”, three 152-mm guns D-20 and two 122-mm howitzers D-30,” says the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The Ministry of Defense also reported that Russian units of the military liberated the village of Krutoy Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic and defeated nine brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the courage of Russian military personnel in the SVO zone.
