Mercouris: Ukrainian Armed Forces are at significant risk due to armored vehicle shortage

Ukrainian Military is in great danger due to the lack of military equipment at the front, British expert Alexander Mercouris stated in his YouTube video.

“Problem that they’re so short of armored vehicles that many of their troops are apparently being deployed to battle in commercial vehicles where they are in deadly danger to Russian drone and artillery and air strikes,” Mercouris stressed.

According to Mercouris, the Russian army significantly outnumbers the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the scarcity of armored vehicles and weapons leads to significant losses for Ukraine.

It was also reported in some Ukrainian and Russian media outlets that Ukrainian military personnel on the front lines were in favor of negotiations with Russia.

A soldier named Yuri says he fears the Ukrainian conflict could drag on for years. The FT notes that other Ukrainian soldiers are also calling for peace talks. If only they were able to fight “with both hands instead of with one hand tied behind our back”, then Ukraine’s plucky troops might stand a chance against a more powerful Russian army, laments an attack drone operator, FT.com.
