Russian military strikes terminal and ferry carrying ammunition for Ukraine from Romania

Lebedev: Russian Armed Forces hit Ukrainian ferry and terminal on Romanian border

The coordinator of the Nikolaev pro-Russian resistance, Sergey Lebedev said that Russian troops attacked a terminal and a ferry with military cargo in the Odesa region on the border with Romania.

“The settlement of Orlovka at 2.40 and 3.00 (Moscow time) received strikes from the Geran UAV in the port area, where the Orlovka ferry terminal is located. Military equipment, ammunition, and fuel have been brought in by ferries from Romania for some time now to the territory of Ukraine and stored in the port,” Lebedev shared.

He added that there could have been foreign mercenaries on the ferry. Russian troops struck just as one of the ferries was docking, according to RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Lebedev reported that Russian troops had struck a Ukrainian Armed Forces ammunition depot in the suburbs of Kharkiv. After the explosions, a serious fire broke out and the electricity went out. As a result, the Dergachi-Tyagovaya substation could have been damaged.
