Russian troops push Ukrainian forces out of Kamenskoye in intensified combat

Chairman of the Russian Federation Public Chamber's Commission on Sovereignty Issues Vladimir Rogov: Fighting for the village of Kamenskoye has intensified in the Zaporizhzhia region

Chairman of the Russian Federation Public Chamber’s Commission on Sovereignty Issues Vladimir Rogov announced the intensification of fighting for the village of Kamenskoye in the Zaporizhzhia region. RIA Novosti reports this.

The material specifies that the settlement is located on the left bank of the former Kakhovka Reservoir. Not far from it is the village of Stepnogorsk, through which the route to the city of Zaporizhzhia opens.

“The fighting that is currently taking place in the village of Kamenskoye itself, part of which is held by Ukrainian militants, has intensified,” Rogov noted.

He specified that recently Russian assault units were able to advance along the front line. According to the public figure, thanks to this, the troops managed to push back the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) formations to the northern outskirts of the settlement and even beyond its borders.
