Toprak Razgatlıoglu evaluated his victory in Portugal
National motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlıoglu, who won the first race in the Portuguese leg of the 2024 World Superbike Championship, said, “We made a different tire choice compared to the others. This was not a risk, we protected ourselves.”
Toprak Razgatlıoglu, who came first in the first race held at the Estoril Circuit, maintained his advantage on the way to the championship.
Speaking to AA after the race, Toprak said, “The race went exactly as we wanted. Everything was under control.”
Drawing attention to his tire choice, the national motorcyclist said, “We made a different tire choice compared to the others. This was not a risk, we protected ourselves. Because soft tires are not always very good in cold weather. We wanted to stay on standard tires. We had a great race. We were already fast. Everyone is surprised that we came in first with this tire. I was confident. Hopefully, we will improve this tour a little more tomorrow. Maybe we will use the soft tire tomorrow.”
Toprak said he was happy to be back on top of the podium after his accident and added that he wanted to win tomorrow’s races as well.
Toprak Razgatlıoglu stated that he would do his best to win the championship.
