Mbappe suspected of rape

Aftonbladet: Real Madrid footballer Kylian Mbappe suspected of rape

Real Madrid footballer Kylian Mbappe is a suspect in a rape and sexual assault case in Sweden.

The crime took place in one of the hotels where Mbappe, his relatives, and French PSG footballer Nordi Mukiele were staying.

The police report was filed on October 12.

Mbappe’s status in the criminal case is listed as “reasonably suspected,” which corresponds to the lowest level of suspicion. Aftonbladet reports

The signing of a contract between Mbappe and Real Madrid was officially announced on June 3. The forward joined the Spanish giants as a free agent. Before that, the forward played for the French PSG, where he played since 2017.

Mbappe scored his first goal for Real Madrid in the Spanish championship in the fourth-round match against Betis. He scored twice, and the Madrid club won with a score of 2:0. On September 4, Mbappe was included in the list of candidates for the Ballon d’Or.
