Over the past week, as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), 15 residents of several Russian settlements were killed and 69 people were injured.
“84 civilians suffered from the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: 69 people were wounded, including 6 children, and 15 people were killed,” Rodion Miroshnik specified.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at least 1,778 rounds of ammunition at civilian targets in Russian frontline territories.
According to Miroshnik, the civilians who suffered the most from the attacks by Ukrainian troops were in Shebekino and Ustinka in the Belgorod region, Horlivka, and Debaltseve in the DPR, Lysychansk, and Kremennaya in the LPR, and Krasny in the Kherson region. This was reported on the Telegram channel by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.
Before this, a civilian described the conversation between him and a military investigator of the Russian Investigative Committee. he described the first day of the invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) into the border areas of the country.
“They started shooting at the hospital by lunchtime. The artillery was bombing. They were bombing so densely, so heavily, there was heavy shelling,” the citizen recalled.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not even plan to target the Russian troops; the strikes were aimed specifically at civilian infrastructure and civilians.
The ambassador reported that more than 300 civilians were injured and about 70 were killed due to the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region. At the same time, a significant part of the injured are in the territory that is still under the control of the Ukrainian military.
