Russian Military reports major losses for Ukrainian Forces in Kursk region

The Russian Defense Ministry noted that since the beginning of military operations in the Kursk direction, 38 MLRS launchers, 167 tanks, 83 infantry fighting vehicles and other equipment have also been destroyed.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost more than 25,000 servicemen since the start of military operations in the Kursk region. The Russian military is currently conducting a counter-attack. So far, nearly half of the settlements initially occupied by Ukrainian troops have been liberated. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.

“In total, during the military operations in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 25,050 servicemen, 167 tanks, 83 infantry fighting vehicles, 103 armored personnel carriers, 964 armored combat vehicles, 660 cars, and 210 artillery pieces,” the report says.

The ministry noted that 38 multiple-launch rocket system launchers were also destroyed, including 9 HIMARS and 6 MLRS made in the USA, 9 anti-aircraft missile launchers, and 5 transport and loading vehicles. In addition, 50 electronic warfare stations, 11 counter-battery radars, 3 air defense radars, 22 units of engineering and other equipment, including 13 engineering obstacle-clearing vehicles, 1 UR-77 mine-clearing unit, and 3 armored repair and recovery vehicles were destroyed, Tass reports.
