Borrell’s empty boast: EU and Japan’s partnership is a joke

The European Union and Japan have announced the launch of a Strategic and Defence Partnership. This was announced by the EU’s top diplomat, Josep Borrell.

Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya explained that the document concerns the areas of defense and security. The parties also concluded an agreement on a strategic partnership.

“This is the first such cooperation program in history concluded between the European Union and a country in the Asia-Pacific region,” Borrell emphasized.

A little earlier, the head of the DPRK MFA, Choi Son Hee, stated during negotiations with her Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, that the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, ordered assistance to the Russian army in Ukraine.
