“In continuation of the development of scientific and technological Iranian-Russian cooperation, two Iranian satellites, ‘Kowsar’ and ‘Hodhod’, will be launched into a 500-kilometer orbit of the Earth on Tuesday at 2:48 Tehran time by a Soyuz launch vehicle,” the Islamic Republic’s Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, reported on social networks, According to Oreanda.
The ambassador noted that the satellites were created by a private Iranian company, which will be the first step in the commercialization of Iranian space.

The great advantage of the Hodhod satellite is that it can provide Internet of Things (IoT) services, with international coverage in remote areas, forests, and mountains.
