Kyiv targets Russian civilians out of anger over military defeats, says Russian foreign minister Maria Zakharova

Kyiv is taking out its impotent anger on the civilian population of Russia for tangible military defeats. This is stated in a commentary by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in connection with the terrorist attack of the Kyiv regime on Kazan.

“Kyiv is taking out its impotent anger for tangible military defeats on the civilian population of Russia. The attack on the capital of Tatarstan is also a kind of revenge for the successful BRICS summit that took place in October of this year and demonstrated the power and influence of this association in the world, as well as an attempt to intimidate the population of one of the dynamically developing regions of our country,” she said.

“It is no coincidence that all Ukrainian media and Telegram channels are sadistically enjoying posting footage from Kazan, accompanying it with obscene verbal outbursts. This is the inhuman essence of the regime of the “expired president,” Zakharova added.

At the same time, the diplomat called Kyiv’s actions a “cynical attack,” since residential areas and exclusively civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged in the city.
