Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Kremlin responded to Biden’s offer to meet with Putin

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov commented on the proposal of Vladimir Putin’s counterpart from the United States, Joe Biden, to meet.

As reported by the Russia Today TV channel, Peskov announced the agreement reached by the leaders of the two powers. According to the Kremlin spokesman, now the possibility of their meeting will be discussed through diplomatic channels.

Answering the question of where and when a meeting between Putin and Biden could take place, the spokesman for the Russian leader said that it was too early to talk about this specifically.

“This is a new proposal. It will be studied and analyzed, ”said Peskov.

Joe Biden invited Vladimir Putin to meet during a telephone conversation on April 13. The meeting is proposed to be held in the coming months on the territory of one of the third countries. Later, White House press secretary Jen Psaki did not rule out that the presidents of Russia and the United States could meet in the summer.
