The investigation into the explosions at Nord Stream continues

The investigation by Denmark, Germany and Sweden into the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosions is not yet complete, according to a joint letter sent to the UN Security Council on Tuesday ahead of a meeting called by Russia on the September incident.Russia has asked the Security Council to carry out an independent investigation into the gas pipeline explosions. A vote on the proposal has not yet been scheduled and is unlikely to take place on Tuesday.Denmark, Germany and Sweden said in a letter that “the Russian authorities have been informed of the ongoing investigation” and that it has now been determined that the damage to the pipelines was caused by “powerful explosions due to sabotage”.”It is not possible at this time to say when (the investigation) will be completed,” the letter said.
