In several regions of Russia, an air raid signal sounded on television and radio. The Ministry of Emergency Situations called these messages a hack.
In the Moscow region broadcast on the TV channels “Subbota”, TNT4 and 2X2 interrupted an emergency announcement, in which a woman’s voice, on an air raid signal, announces the threat of a missile strike and urges for cover.
The same signal sounded in other regions of Russia – especially on television in Leningrad region V Sverdlovsk region and also on the radio Voronezh And Belgorod .
In the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the appearance of an air raid signal on the airwaves explain hack the servers of TV channels and radio stations. The ministry clarified that the information expressed “is false and does not correspond to reality”.

On February 23, the Ukrainian anthem and the call of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kirill Budanov, sounded on the radio in Crimea. In an appeal on behalf of Budanov, it was stated that “Crimea, Donbass and all of southern Ukraine will go home forever”. Local authorities also called the incident a burglary. A day earlier, on February 22, in Pyatigorsk, Tyumen, Tula, Voronezh, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Magnitogorsk, an announcement was made on the radio about an air alert and the threat of a missile strike. The Ministry of Emergencies called the air raid warning announcement fake and explained it as a hacker attack.
