Joe Biden made a political mistake by provoking active cooperation between Russia and China. This conclusion was drawn by former Czech diplomat and ex-deputy defense minister Jaromir Novotny.
He said such an approach is beneficial for Russian-Chinese relations. About this writes the publication URA.RU.
“Listen, tough sanctions have been in place against Russia for a year now, and Russia has somehow not collapsed. About 40 countries have announced sanctions against Russia. But Indians and Chinese are happy to trade with Russia. I said two years ago that the West was making a mistake in pushing Russia towards such a decision, pushing it directly towards China. Because Kissinger succeeded in dividing the bloc Soviet Union -China and that Biden succeeded in creating a Russian-Chinese bloc,” Novotny said in an interview with Radio Universum.
Nowotny says those mistakes were made possible because the White House lacked qualified personnel. Anti-Russian sanctions are not working, and European and American media attacks on the depletion of Russia’s arms stockpiles turn each time into Russia continuing to fight under even greater pressure.
Earlier it became known that changes, and even a relaxation of the sanctions regime and the abolition of some measures against Russia, are not yet expected. This was said by the official representative of the EU foreign service, Peter Stano.
