Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

A thief stole a cross and a gospel for 400,000 rubles from the church

An unknown person stole the cross and the Gospel from the Church of St. Sergius in Radonezh on the island of Krestovsky. This was reported by a source within law enforcement.

On the evening of March 3, a reader from the church contacted the police. According to him, in the afternoon, an unknown person took from the church a gilded metal cross and a gospel in velvet binding with silver lining. The damage was estimated at 383.6 thousand rubles.

The experts studied the recordings of the video cameras. The signs of the criminal are known: a 30-35 year old man, he has blond hair, a short haircut and glasses. The thief wore a red jacket, blue jeans and black boots with white soles. Now that they are looking for the kidnapper, the question of opening a criminal case is being decided.

Earlier, a similar story happened in the Church of the Holy Martyr Eugenia on Parashutnaya Street, from where an unknown person took out the relics. However, the thief was quickly identified. “MK in St. Petersburg” wrote that, apparently, the man was afraid of publicity, and he returned the stolen goods through parishioners.
