A series of seismic tremors rocked a multitude of provinces in Turkey.

A number of Turkish states were subjected to successive earthquakes this morning. An earthquake measuring 4.4 degrees on the Richter scale struck the state of Adi Yaman, in the southeast of the country. And the Turkish Emergency and Disaster Management Administration (AFAD) stated in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake was the Celikhan district in the state of Adi Yaman, while it occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers. Also, this morning, a 4-magnitude earthquake struck the city of Antakya in the state of Hatay, in southern Turkey, at a depth of 7.23 kilometers. And AFAD stated that another earthquake measuring 4.1 degrees occurred at dawn today in the Tofan Bayli district in the state of Adana, in the south of the country, and it was at a depth of 7 kilometers. It is noteworthy that a violent earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale struck southern Turkey and northern Syria on February 6, followed by another earthquake measuring 7.6 degrees, followed by thousands of violent aftershocks, killing tens of thousands and damaging buildings and property in both countries.
