There are many doctors who treat hearing problems. But they do not manufacture or repair hearing aids themselves. The idea of combining diagnosis, treatment and technical implementation of auditory pathologies appeared in 2006.
That’s when a team of audiologists from Smolensk teamed up with acoustic engineers. From the very beginning, the only Smolensk laboratory for the manufacture of individual earmolds and cases for hearing aids was included in the Spektr Hearing Rehabilitation Center. Appeared and own service center.
Since then, development has not stopped for a day. Obtaining medical licenses, opening a diagnostic service, working under compulsory health insurance contracts… Spektr has become a single organization that provides all hearing-related services, including sales and repair of hearing aids. And people of all ages are getting help, even newborns.
Of course, Spektr is also a social purpose organization. The Center cooperates with the regional branch of the pension and social insurance fund, provides people with disabilities with technical means for rehabilitation.
It has social enterprise status. Received a grant in the amount of 500,000 rubles and advertising support from the My Business center.
