The Doha Film Institute is organizing the ninth edition of the Qumra Film Forum, from March 10 to 15, in person and from March 19 to 21 online, with the participation of more than 200 Arab and international film experts from 41 countries, as well as prominent local and international institutions and companies.
The activities of the forum are held in two tracks: the first is dedicated to training, workshops, advisory sessions and individual meetings for projects in the development stage, and the second includes presentations of copies of films under development and dialogues about projects that have reached the stage of post-production.
The forum supports the journey of filmmakers, starting from writing the script to showing the film on the screen, as well as viewing platforms on demand, and digital platforms with the aim of enabling filmmakers to distribute their projects in an unconventional way and ensure that they reach the widest possible audience base.

It is worth noting that the forum will witness the participation of a group of film directors, producers, writers, directors and programmers of festivals, consultants, fund managers, heads of sales and purchases, script experts, distributors, digital platforms, and those responsible for broadcasters.
