Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Mayor of Yaroslavl said PATP will join YarGET

Artem Molchanov, mayor of Yaroslavl, announced the plans of the city leadership to save PATP-1. Recall that the municipal enterprise, which was engaged in passenger bus transport, did not receive any routes during the redistribution of passenger transport rights in Yaroslavl and on suburban routes. This must inevitably lead to the demise of the business.

But the mayor of Yaroslavl said the company would be saved. To do this, a three-part plan has been developed. PATPs will be transferred on long-distance intra-regional lines. There are no requirements for new buses on these routes. Recall that such requirements were set on the roads of the city of Yaroslavl. The second step will be the restructuring of PATP’s debts, reducing costs and attracting regional funds to pay the debts. The third step will be the fusion of PATP-1 and Yargorelektrotrans.

The mayor explained that it is much easier to maintain one unprofitable municipal company than to maintain two. Moreover, with the help of the PATP team, it will be possible to fill the vacancies of YarGET, thus reducing the shortage of personnel.
