P80 Air, Really Cool Air and Landarch Airline have applied for operating licenses from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). It is expected that by 2024 the approval process will be completed, reports ATOR.
Malaysian airline MY Airline is also interested in organizing a new route to Thailand, which means there will be more international flights to the Kingdom. An air carrier license application was also submitted to CAATs.
This news will appeal to Russian tourists who like to combine their holidays in these two countries.
The entry of another airline should have a positive effect on fares. Currently, Thai Air Asia estimates the cost of a two-hour flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok at 10.5 thousand rubles per person, one way, with departure in mid-March.
