Peskov announced the negative attitude of the Kremlin to the ban on entry to Armenia to Russian media officials

kremlin.ru | Administration of the President of RussiaPress Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation with the ban on entry to Armenia for citizens. According to him, the Kremlin is negative about such a decision.

It should be noted that the Armenian authorities have banned journalist Aram Gabrelyanov from entering the country. He was to give a lecture as part of a training course for journalists organized by MGIMO professor Viktor Soghomonyan.

“We take it negatively. Armenia is our great friend, ally, strategic partner. The level and nature of bilateral relations require them to be protected from such cases,” Peskov said.

The head of state’s press attaché expressed the hope that in the foreseeable future bilateral relations between Russia and Armenia will be free of such cases.
