Norway has promised to transfer two NASAMS air defense systems to Kiev for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Norway, Bjorn Arild Gram, reports Interfax.
Norwegian Defense Minister Gram believes that two guns can help Ukraine in air defense. NASAMS systems will be provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in joint cooperation with the United States.
The head of the Norwegian military department noted that the Ukrainian army will also be trained to work with new air defense systems. There is no information on the duration of the training at this time.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Norway is looking for specialists who know the Russian language. Personnel are needed to carry out work with the nuclear energy industry of Ukraine.
