Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his visit to Mariupol, spoke with local residents and reviewed new apartments in one of the neighborhoods. According to the Head of State, “we must begin to know each other better”.
Townspeople noted that they did not expect to see the Russian leader in the city. They even asked permission to say hello to him.

Earlier, the Kremlin press service reported on Vladimir Putin’s visit to Mariupol. The head of state, driving a Japanese car, drove through several neighborhoods, and in the Nevsky microdistrict Putin spoke with the residents of the city. It is also reported that the president inspected the city’s coastline in the area of the yacht club, the theater building and the city’s memorable places.
