Lebanon’s banks announce the suspension of their strike

The Association of Banks in Lebanon announced the suspension of its strike after a week-long closure, in protest against decisions and lawsuits against some banks. The Association of Banks in Lebanon announced the strike since March 14, and in a statement issued by it denounced the judicial decisions against the banks. It is noteworthy that the Association of Banks in Lebanon announced, on February 24, the suspension of its strike as well, more than three weeks after the closure of banks, in rejection of the judicial summons and some decisions issued against it, which, as it put it, affect the regularity of banking work and the rights of depositors.
