Mobilization in Ukraine “takes monstrous forms,” said Yan Gagin, adviser to acting DPR leader Denis Pushilin.
In a comment to RIA Novosti, he noted that the mobilization in Ukraine is taking place mainly in the eastern regions, it stems from social networks and interrogations of prisoners of war. According to him, this is due to the fact that the inhabitants of the western regions are already called or have fled to Europe.
Gagin also referred to the creation of a temporary detention center in Odessa, in which future soldiers of Ukrainian armed formations are placed, who are taken to public places with the help of special services and the police and kept in inhuman conditions.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian police have been given the right to detain and forcibly deliver citizens of service age to points where they can be summoned. Earlier, the WSJ reported that the Ukrainian regime had problems with conscription.
