The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey has been cast in the lead role in the second season of BBC prison drama Terme. She will be accompanied on set by Jodie Whittaker, Tamara Lawrence and Shivann Finneran.
The Jimmy McGovern TV show, which starred Stephen Graham and Sean Bean in its first season, will move to a women’s prison where Ramsey can be seen as Kelsey. The girl will dive into a whole new world with Orla (Whittaker) and Abi (Lawrence). Even with the constant threat of violence, they suddenly find unexpected solidarity and shared concepts that make their lives easier.
“I am very happy to be part of the project, to work with an incredible team after a very good first season,” Ramsey said in a special press release. “And it’s such an honor to be Kelsey, I’m excited to dive into her world in the months ahead.” The other day, it was also revealed that Bella will be starring in the historical drama “Monstrous Beauty” with Dominic West and Ruth Negga.
